ABOUT
LEATHERREALM FASHIONS
I learned
how to stamp and tool leather while I was in the Army at a craft shop on
base. In 1991, I made a friend who wanted a southwestern style belt for
Christmas. She asked if I could make her a leather bikini (she was a
dancer). I told her I never tried, but I remembered seeing a pattern
for one. I bought the leather and the pattern, cut it out and sent it
to my mom to sew. My friend loved her white leather bikini. Then
another dancer asked me to make her a red one. That’s how I got
started.
I was in
grad school at the time, so I had either my mom, my sister or a friend
sew for me. After a year, I taught myself how to sew, mostly through
trial and error. I would make a couple outfits and sell them at strip
clubs to dancers. I started to expand my designs to include chokers and
wristbands. This
web site shows where the designs are at this time with most of the
designs being unique creations. Even as the photographs for this web
site were taken, more new items are being created.
I still
travel around to do direct sales at strip clubs, but with the advent of
this Web site, I hope to be on the road regularly to vend at Fetish Show
events. Check back often to see where I will be, and come say hello.
